Four steps left, and the first two take a minute.

Opens Google Play. Tap “Become a tester” on the page that loads. Make sure your phone's Play Store is signed into the account you want to test with.

Same page, the “Download it on Google Play” link. If it says item not found, wait about 15 minutes — that's Google propagating, not you.

Create a character, pick a starting life, and run a few weeks. Ten minutes is enough to have an opinion — and an opinion is what we're after.

Three questions, no survey. Bugs and feature ideas have their own forms and both are quick.

This is the one that actually matters. Google requires the tester count to hold continuously for two weeks before the game can go public — one person leaving early resets the clock for everyone. Play as much or as little as you like inside that window.
